Family Leadership Academy
The goal of the annual Family Leadership Academy pre-conference is to help you see your own leadership potential and how you can make a difference for families with disabilities in your community. We are asking you to commit to attending the pre-conference session to explore leadership and how you can be a part of making a difference. We are looking for you to help lead our community by sharing information, answering questions, and learn more about the disability community.
The Parent Leadership Academy usually includes 40 participants with applications typically available in February or March of each year. Please note that there is no childcare provided although your child(ren) are welcome to attend if (1) they can participate (young adult with or without disabilities) or (2) if they can quietly attend the session and engage with their own activity that you provide (i.e. book, tablet, coloring, etc.)
