Family Engagement

For Parents

Our family engagement program is designed to help parents gain the skills and knowledge they may need to support their children’s growth and learning.

We offer information, resources, and workshops about:

  • Parenting topics – from early childhood through adolescence. Parents will learn effective ways to manage their child’s behavior. Parents can learn how to help their child/adolescent deal with difficult situations like bullying.
  • Building partnerships with the schools. We help parents and families understand education laws such as No Child Left Behind. We’ll empower parents and families to ask the right questions so they can advocate effectively for their children.

For Schools and Organizations

Parents Reaching Out has over a decade of expertise in facilitating family engagement in schools. We can provide consultation services or help you manage a family engagement program at your school, day care, or other family organization.

We help schools "work smarter, not harder" by showing them how to meet the requirements of Section 1118 of ESEA and New Mexico House Bill 212. Our family engagement processes align with the New Mexico Toolkit for School, Family, and Community Partnerships.

Let us show you how to bring your school, families, and community together to work towards the academic success of all children.

Give us a call at 247-0192 and ask for Johnny or email him at jwilson@parentsreachingout.org.
We can tailor a program to meet your organization’s unique needs.
