Coming Soon! Parents Reaching Out will offer our newsletters on line. Families, caregivers, educators and other professionals will be able to access newsletters that promote healthy, positive and caring experiences for New Mexico families and children. Each newsletter will include coming events and useful tips, legislative information and other hot topics for informed decisionmaking.

  • PIRC (Parent Information and Resource Center) Information about child development, early childhood programs, No Child Left Behind and tools to build meaningful partnerships to improve academic achievement.
  • PTI (Parent Training and Information Center) Timely information for families of infants, children and youth with all types of disabilities as well as related professionals. Tools and tips focused on the special education system and the Individual Educational Program (IEP) process, IDEA 2004 and advocacy.
  • F2FHIC (Family to Family Health and Information Center Resources for families and providers focused on understanding the health care system and informed choices to access quality health care services.
  • Family Leadership Action Network Events, family stories and resources to dedicated to building parent to parent connections and volunteer networks that improve outcomes for families in New Mexico.
  • Early Intervention Tips and information about current events, advocacy, record keeping, the family perspective and partnerships with those who provide services to our children birth to three.
  • Parents Reaching Out (The PROgram) Topics, events, resources and timely information for families and stakeholders in our network of programs to improve outcomes for our children and young adults.
  • Families as Faculty: Information to keep FAF Host Families up to date on the latest topics including upcoming workshops of interest, new resources and networking opportunities.
